With Me You are Safe

I am clearing out your heart.  Over the years so much has entered your heart and stayed there.  Not by choice.  You didn’t want it to stay but it did.  The past proved that it should be allowed to stay to protect you.  Your soul thought it was doing you a favor by protecting you – but it was really building walls.  My child, understand all this wall building happens subconsciously.  This is the dangerous part, but there is a way around it.  There is protection from this and the protection is Me.  See, as you have been seeking me, as you have been giving me your heart and allowing me in My Spirit has been at work.  He is the one who clears out your heart.  The more and more you seek my face, call out for help, desire my heart, and surrender yourself to me, the more I can protect you. 

You are beginning to hear me whisper to you when walls try to form.  You feel a tug on your heart and you are seeing what I see.  As you see the wall go up with thoughts and agreements that solidify the walls, I come in and gently whisper, “there’s a better way.”  There’s this way – with me.  It seems terribly scary and vulnerable and unsafe, but I promise it’s safe.   It’s a safe place of protection.  See you don’t need to build walls around your heart because I am a Strong Tower.  You are safe with me.  I protect your heart.  So when the past tries to come in and tell you why you need to build a wall to protect yourself from pain, listen closely to my voice, it is there gently speaking to you.  It is behind the fear, it is behind the lies.  Fear and lies always shout but I am gentle yet strong.  If you allow me, you’ll see my voice can become louder than the shouts of fear.  My voice will strongly reassure you that you can chose to love, to trust, to be free.  You can always trust in the promise that I am Your Strong Tower.  You can trust me to protect your heart.  With me, you are safe.
